FlowDeck 1.1.0 is about the work around the work: getting set up, staying responsive through long sessions, and trusting that FlowDeck follows the destination and app you actually chose. This release includes FlowDeck CLI 1.31.0.
Setup that finishes the job
Onboarding now checks Xcode properly, sends you directly to the App Store when it is missing, and installs the simulator runtimes you need. FlowDeck also opens faster by restoring your workspace before it checks every installed agent.
Long sessions stay smooth
High-volume logs keep filtering, scrolling, and rendering without freezing the app. Older conversations load in pages instead of all at once, and pasted screenshots are scaled before upload so they do not weigh down the session.
Your messages and builds follow your intent
Messages written while a session is compacting are queued and sent afterwards, while rate-limited sends retry automatically. Starting a new chat mid-turn now asks first, stale plan approvals are dismissed, and rapid scheme or destination changes are saved in order before a build begins.
macOS runs stay in their lane
FlowDeck now identifies a running Mac app by the build that launched it, not only by its bundle identifier. Starting, stopping, and streaming logs in one checkout no longer interfere with the same app running from another project.
Also in this release
Simulator lists refresh immediately after you create, delete, or rename a device, and My Mac remains available when device discovery fails.
Deleting a simulator runtime now reliably removes the downloaded image and reclaims its disk space.
Project Settings is available directly from the worktree menu, with project generation actions moved to the top level.
The CLI can inspect one workspace at a time and catches bundle-identifier mismatches before a build reaches upload.
Agent restarts clean up in-flight processes, team agents interrupt one another less often, and subscribers can open the billing portal directly from their license dashboard.
Update
FlowDeck Studio updates automatically. To install FlowDeck CLI 1.31.0, run flowdeck update in your terminal. See previous releases in the FlowDeck changelog.
