FlowDeck macOS 0.14.0 reshapes the workspace around the thing you actually switch between all day: your projects.

The rail is now a project switcher

Every open project gets its own tile in the left rail, showing its app icon or its initials, and you drag the tiles into whatever order you think in. Nine of them are one keystroke away with ⌘1 through ⌘9, each tile naming its own shortcut when you hover it, and projects are now indexed in Open Quickly (⌘K) too.

See which project needs you

A tile lights up with an amber dot when an agent inside it is blocked waiting for your answer. The sidebar only ever shows the sessions of the project you are looking at, so a question in a background project used to sit there unnoticed until you happened to switch. Now the rail tells you, and the tooltip says who is waiting.

Plan and Code live on the session

The two modes moved out of the rail and onto a pair of tabs at the top of the session, next to what you are working on. ⇧⌘1 and ⇧⌘2 switch between them from anywhere.

A shortcut for every panel

⌥⌘0 opens the Inspector, and ⌥⌘1, ⌥⌘2, and ⌥⌘3 take you straight to its Changes, Tests, and Issues tabs; pressing the shortcut for the tab already showing closes the panel. ⌘0 toggles the Simulator and ⇧⌘Y toggles the console. The whole map, including the composer's @, /, and $ triggers, lives in Help > Keyboard Shortcuts (⌘/).

Your projects stay where you left them

Each project reopens on the session you were last in, even after quitting the app, falling back to the first session if that one is gone. And closing or deleting a session now keeps you in the project, moving you to the nearest open session above it, instead of dropping you into an empty workspace. Only closing the main session returns you to the empty state.

Fixes

• FlowDeck Help now opens the macOS documentation instead of the generic introduction page.

• The Explore Code action and project idea suggestions have been removed.

• The sidebar, headers, and color tokens were reworked to match the new rail, in both light and dark mode.

This release also bundles FlowDeck CLI 1.26.1, which the app now requires.
